MOVIS is a mobile video system working independent from electricity network as well as internet or telephone access. Combined with a high-capacity network camera (e.g. Mobotix) the battery operated system delivers pictures in different resolutions (up to 2048 x 1536 pixels) over a long period of time (several weeks). Because of a secured GPRS/UMTS data transfer, based upon a multi-stage fault tolerance concept, a flexible operation is guaranteed almost anywhere.

Pictures can be captured on demand, periodically or event-driven. Access to the pictures can easily be obtained via internet using MOVIS-View/ MultiView software. Alternatively pictures can be transfered by email, FTP or other customer-specific forms.
